9. REDRESSAL OF COMPLAINTS
To enable the customers to voice their grievances in respect of any deficient service or other suggestions for improvement in customer service, “Customer Day” is observed at all the offices of the Bank across the organization covering branches, Regional Offices and Head Office, on 15th of every month (next day, if 15th is a holiday or half-day). During 3 pm to 5 p.m. on this day any customer can meet senior/ top executives of the Bank including Managing Director without prior appointment.
In case of any complaint, the matter may preferably be brought to the notice of the concerned branch manager for immediate redressal. If the complaint is not redressed to the satisfaction of the customer, the matter may be taken up with the Regional Manager/ Zonal Manager concerned, Bank’s Nodal Officer designated to deal with customers’ complaints / grievances, Managing Director of the Bank and even after this, not satisfied he is free to take recourse to the following:


  • Directorate of Public Grievances, Govt. of India, Cabinet Secretariat, Sansad Marg, New Delhi.
  • The Banking Ombudsman located in State Capitals under RBI Ombudsman Scheme, 1995.
  • The Director Consumer Forum under Consumer Protection Act, 1985.

PERSONAL LOANS

 

SBP- HOME LOAN:
For individuals for purchase of new/old house/flat or plot for repairs/renovation/extension of an existing house, for consumer durables/furnishing for a new house, for earnest money for booking of plot/house flat built by government agencies.

 SBP GYAN JYOTI:
 For students for pursuing higher studies in India and abroad.

 SBP-PERSONAL LOAN:
For meeting varying needs of individuals including employees, self-employed persons,pensioners and agents of insurance /KVP etc.

SBP-TWO WHEELER:
For purchase of two wheelers for personal use.

 SBP- REALITY HOME LOAN:
For purchase of plot of land for construction of house thereon.

 SBP- RENT:                         
For meeting business or other genuine personal needs of owners of property.

SBP-LOAN TO                     

PENSIONERS
 For meeting personal expenses of all Central/State Govt. Defence and SBP Pensioners/family pensioners.

SBP-CAR LOAN:
For purchase of new passenger cars/jeeps/multi utility vehicles (MUVs) and (SUVs).  Used passenger cars/jeeps/ MUVs and SUVs not more than 5 years old.

SBP-GRAM NIWAS:
This scheme has been launched with a view to provide housing loans to farmers and other rural dwellers for purchase/construction of house including cost of construction of work shed for pursuing income generation activities viz. dairy shed, tailoring shop, grocery store, work shed for village artisans. 

EQUITABLE MORTGAGE

OF PROPERTY                
Under this scheme general-purpose loan is granted to individuals who are employees, professionals, self-employed and others who are income tax assesses or engaged in agricultural and allied activities.

AGRICULTURISTS                           

SBP- KISAN CARD:
Crop loans are granted for farmers who cultivate land.

 

SBP- KISAN GOLD

CARD:
Farmers owning land with satisfactory dealings with the Bank for the last two years

 

SBP DAIRY:
Loans for rearing cows/ buffaloes

 

TRACTOR LOANS:
For purchase of tractor/ implements

 

HORTICULTURE:
For raising orchards

 

APICULTURE:
For raising honey bees

 

PISSICULTURE/

AQUACULTURE:
For fisheries/ pran farming

 

AGRI CLINIC:
For establishing agro centres/agri. clinic

 

FLORICULTURE:
Credit facilities are provided for raising flowers/green houses etc.

 

POULTRY:
 Loans to individuals who are technically qualified for poultry farming.

 

MUSHROOMS        

CULTIVATION
Credit facilities are provided for the cultivation of mushrooms

 WEAKER SECTIONS         

DRI SCHEME:
Financial assistance is provided to low income group for production and gainful endeavours at concessional rate of interest.

 SJSRY SCHEME:
To provide gainful employment to the urban unemployed or under employed poor through setting up of self-employment ventures or provision of wage employment.

SLRS SCHEME
For liberation and rehabilitation of scavengers and their dependents from their existing hereditary and obnoxious occupation of manually removing night soil and filth.

SGRY SCHEME
Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojna covers all aspects of self-employment such as organisation of the poor into self Help Groups, training, credit, technology, infrastructure and marketing.
