Customers can also remit their cheques or Cashier’s
Cheques for credit to their account either during
their visit to India
or through mail. These will be collected and credited to customer’s /
beneficiary’s account.

and Currency notes :-
Travellers Cheques/
Currency Notes can also be tendered at the branch for credit to customer’s
account during their visit to India.

• Remittance through Rupee draft through exchange companies. (for remittances
from Gulf countries only)

has entered into rupee drawing arrangements with the following exchange

These two exchange companies will accept
remittances from our NRI customers and issue rupee draft drawn on any
branch of State Bank of Patiala. The customers can
send these drafts directly to State Bank of Patiala
branches or deposit the same with the branch through their family member.
The amount will be credited immediately on receipt of the draft at the
branches.

State Bank of Patiala
has recently entered into arrangement with State Bank of India for
funds transfer through SBI branches overseas. To Start with, this facility
is available for our NRI customers residing in U.S.A.
and U.K.
